Exchangely has no account and no ad tracking. This page names, plainly, the two things that touch a network at all.

What Exchangely does not do

There is no sign-in, no user account, and nothing tying your use of the app to your identity. Exchangely does not run analytics, does not include an advertising SDK, and does not sell or share data with data brokers — there is no data collected that could be sold.

Everything you type — amounts, calculator expressions, which currencies you've picked, your watchlist if you've unlocked Pro — stays on your device, in the app's local storage. None of it is transmitted anywhere.

What does touch a network

ServiceWhat it seesWhy
Frankfurter (exchange rates) A rate request with no identifying information — no account, no device identifier attached by Exchangely. Fetches current exchange rates. The result is cached on your device so the app keeps working offline afterward.
Apple / App Store Whatever Apple's App Store and StoreKit already know about your Apple ID, standard for any App Store purchase. Processes the one-time Exchangely Pro purchase and restores it across your devices. Exchangely never receives your payment details — Apple handles the transaction entirely.

Data retention and deletion

Everything Exchangely stores lives in the app's local storage on your device. Deleting the app deletes it — there is no server-side copy to separately request removal of, because none exists.

Children's privacy

Exchangely does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — it doesn't collect information from anyone at all, as described above.

Changes to this policy

If Exchangely ever adds a feature that changes what touches a network — the widget, for instance, if it starts running in the background — this page will be updated first, and the "last updated" date above will change.
